Chicago – from www.suntimes.com – Always in pursuit of items to use, Quick Hits went to Exxxotica Chicago over the weekend.

The adult-entertainment event at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont proved to be the perfect ­setting. Thanks in no small part to actress Kristina Rose. There she was adorned in a sports uniform. Or about as close as the adult-entertainment industry might come to such attire.

Sneakers, socks with red, white and blue horizontal stripes. It sure looked like a Cubs-themed outfit.

‘‘I’ve never been to Chicago before, and I was really excited that I was coming here, and I like to have themes for when I do events like this,’’ she told Quick Hits during a break Saturday evening. ‘‘My theme, I decided, was to be sports in Chicago.’’

In that case, sports seldom have looked better in these parts.

‘‘I went all out,’’ Rose said. ‘‘I did the [White] Sox [on Friday], Jordan throwback jersey. And I did the Cubs [Saturday], a little Harry Caray.’’

As evidenced by an emblem on her short shorts.

‘‘[Sunday], I’m the Bulls,’’ she said. ‘‘I’m doing a Dennis Rodman thing.’’

Sadly, Quick Hits had to go to the office rather than be present to witness that, so it’s unclear whether Rose might have emulated Rodman, who was known for taking off his jersey on occasion and tossing it to the fans.

So is she a sports fan?

‘‘No, I just like to know enough that I can pick up dudes,’’ she said with a laugh.

‘‘The same way you guys pretend to be interested in my day and my shopping. I pretend that I’m interested in something of yours.’’
