CLACKAMAS, Ore. — from www.kptv.com – A man accused of taking his foot fetish to the level of abuse approached yet another woman at a Target store in Clackamas on Sunday, sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies and police in Oregon said a man caught on surveillance cameras asked at least three other women to try on shoes with the intent of inappropriately touching the women.
Becca Lough said she was shopping Sunday at Target on Sunnyside Road when a man holding a high-heel shoe approached her. The man said he was shoe shopping for his daughter and asked Lough and her two friends to try on the shoe.
Unlike the man’s previous victims, Lough said her friends recognized the man from television news and confronted him.
“After he asked us to try them on, she’s like, ‘I know you,'” Lough said.
The man eventually ran off, Lough said. By the time Lough called 911, the man had left the store.
“It was really scary to think that could have happened if she didn’t know who it was,” Lough said.
Clackamas County deputies said the man has approached two other women at the Target store and one woman at a store in Medford. In the two cases where women agreed to try on the shoes, the man touched the women’s legs inappropriately and kissed their legs, deputies said.
In each case, investigators said, the women have yelled at the man and notified security. But as of Sunday night, the man remains at large.
“He’s still out there and that’s just gross to think that he would have that kind of weird fetish,” Lough said. “I think what he is doing is wrong and I think he should be punished for his actions.”
The man is described as white and in his early 40s with brown hair and a thin build. Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
