Porn Valley- Brittney Skye was just a fountain of information on her shoot for Cherry Boxx this week. Before she got into porn Skye used to design children’s bedrooms and worked for a retail store. But Skye has yet to dance or feature dance. “I’m scared of that,” she says. In high school she was sexually active and thinks she may have done something like 15 guys by the time she graduated. Describing herself as a stoner and a party chick, Skye started smoking marijuana at age 16 and had something of a reputation in Southampton H.S. in NY. She then finished up her schooling in California.

Skye came into the business about the same time as her friend Dru Lynn. They met at a Christian school. You would have made book that Lynn would have been the one to continue in the adult business and Skye would have dropped out. Except it was the other way around. Lynn has a kid now and Skye continues with traveling which she loves to do. In the same year that the HIV crisis hit the California porn industry, Skye was later over in Russia to shoot foir Sineplex. “It sucked,” she says.

“It was scary, dealing with these people and the Russian mob.” Skye was there for ten days and two girls showed up, also with HIV. “I hated it there- I didn’t want to go back.”

Skye also has a house and likes the idea of being able to decorate and furnish it. Skye says she’s always had the dream of having a dog and owning a home with a white picket fence, except her entranceway is made of stone and she already has the dog. “Now I got to find the husband.”

Skye mentions that she’d even like to be the president of the PTA some day.

What Skye hates is getting up early and sitting around porn sets, waiting. “I’d rather stay home than hang out on porn sets all day,” she says. Her key ambition is to retire early.

The thing Skye likes most about having sex on camera is that there are no emotional bonds. Skye says sometimes she doesn’t even get the names of the guys she’s working with. “I’m very independent,” she goes on to say. “I still date but i don’t let anyone run me.” Skye says it’s been a long time since she’s had a boyfriend, noting that guys are first good with you doing porn then they don’t like it. Skye’s of the belief that she’ll probably finish her career out before she gets serious again.

“I’ve been really lucky with everything,” she states. “I haven’t met anybody creepy or these stories that you hear sometimes.”

Skye tells me that she took some major time off this summer for vacation. “I slowed down a little bit.” Skye has also been doing a lot of magazine shoots including one for Hustler. She’s getting her first cover and thinks that will be out in March. “I’m excited about that.” Skye worked with Brianna Banks in that shoot. “I love her.” Skye also did a shoot with Gina Lynn for Club. There was another layout for Club Confidential. And Wednesday she shoot for Penthouse’s Pet of the Year issue.

Skye has never been a contract girl. “I’ve had several offers,” she said. “But nothing for me to live off of. I’m realistic about making some money.” But Skye’s not totally opposed to a contract of the money was right.

Skye will have been in the business four years this December. I ask Skye if she’s heard from Dru Lynn.

“I just recently saw her,” she says. “This was after a few years. She has a baby- same old thing, living with her parents. She kind of went the opposite way.” Skye says this is funny because when she [Skye] first got into the business she didn’t think she was going to like it. “Not that I didn’t like it but I didn’t think it was for me. Sure enough after a few scenes I was, yeah, I found my calling.” At the time she got in, Skye says she didn’t want to do the scenes that Dru Lynn was doing.

“Her first scene was like a d.p. for Zupko for 15 hours- ass fucking. It was horrible.” Skye saw the scene, according to her. “She was getting her head dunked in a toilet and shit. I knew right away I didn’t want to do stuff like that.” Skye remembers going over to World Modeling then being sent to Jerry T.

“I worked for him like every month for a year and a half,” she recalls. “The first one was a big ol’ feature. I worked with a girl- I want to say, Jennifer Steele? The pyro girl. She lit a dildo on fire. That scene was a g/g/b with Brian Surewood. That was supposed to be my first scene. But I got a call from Ed Powers and he booked me the day before that. He had to get the first.”

It took awhile, but Skye also does anal.

“But that’s why you don’t see it very often,” she laughs. “It’s extremely expensive. I have shot for Jules Jordan, Zero Tolerance, Michael Ninn, for Laurent. The people that will pay for it. I do like it with the right person and the right circumstances. People that really want it and are willing to pay for it.” Skye was working for Rick Davis the day I talked to her.

“He’s awesome,” she says. “I love shooting for him. It’s so easy, no stress and quick.” Skye still gets the she looks like Jenna remarks, especially when she attends signings or goes to public events. “I hear it behind me- that’s Jenna. Oh, great. Or people come up and ask me to sign something. I write my name. They go, I thought you were Jenna. Yeah, thanks, totally. But I don’t get it that much any more.”

Skye appears in a round about way in The 40 Year Old Virgin. At least a video clip of her, does.

“I don’t know how that happened,” she says. “I just got a phone call from somebody I hadn’t talked to. The asked if I was in the movie. I said no. Then I got another call and another call. I guess I am. I believe Zero Tolerance was the one who put me in there.” In a similar manner, Skye also appears in a CSI: Las Vegas episode and got a bunch of calls about that as well.

It was awhile ago, she says, but Skye also did something for the mainstream- a movie that went to Sundance. “I played myself in two different movies,” she says. “One was supposed to be a comedy off of Pulp Fiction. It was cheesy, funny. It was called My Big Fat Independent Movie. It was a Samuel L. Jackson look alike character having a fantasy. It was, like, what would you wish for.

“He’s, like, Brittney Skye and something wet. And you look at the other guy, John Travolta’s character, whatever, and he’s like in an orgy with all these midgets. It’s kind of cool. In the other one this guy is talking about how he missed his opportunity of a lifetime, trying to explain to someone else, don’t pass this up. He says one time I had a chance to be a stunt cock in this movie. He’s, like, I could have cum all over Brittney Skye’s face. Then he goes back in memory to it. He’s, like, I chickened out and regret that moment for the rest of my life. I believe the working title was Drivers School.”

Noticing that Skye has pretty nice feet, I ask if a man has ever asked to make love to them. “I’ve gotten a few e-mails but I’ve never actually done it,” she laughs. Asked what kind of e-mails and requests she gets, Skye said she did something for MeanBitches.com in which she plays a dominatrix role. “Since then I’ve been getting a lot of mistress things which is totally not me. But I guess that’s how they like me because it’s different and not my nature. But I get lots of weird things that’s just my opposite. But that dominatrix-thing, I don’t know. They want you to talk down to them and tell them how horrible they are. But I like men.”

This summer, Skye also went to Maui to do a shoot with Tera Patrick. “It was her first anal scene,” says Skye. “It was fun. We were there for 8 days and shot some really pretty stuff. I did anal, too.” In fact she went to Maui twice. “One was work and one was vacation,” she said. “I also went to Miami for that show- Internext. I ended up only going to one of the parties. I spent the rest of the time on the beach.”

Skye explains that she also goes to Vegas a lot to attend the UFC fights. “That’s how I ended up with what I’m doing now, for Cherry Boxx,” she adds. “They all go there. And I bought a house- all that fun stuff.”

As far as her own production company’s concerned, Skye says she has two in the can. I’, thinking this is a pretty good title. So does Skye.

“It’s probably already done,” she laughs. “I’ll write that down.” Skye is still having fun in the business. “But I’m not working as much as before- I used to work three times a day, every day. Now I enjoy being at my house, chilling.” Skye says she’d still like to be in Playboy and dreamt about being in Hustler ever since she was little.

“I’ve always been a nympho,” she says. “So all of this was bound to happen.”

One goal that Skye’s yet to accomplish in the business is working with Jenna.

“You figure someone would have put this together by now,” I tell her. Skye says she’s gotten a lot of e-mails about it. “Everyone’s suggesting it but it’s never happened,” she says. “The other thing I wanted was Rocco. But the last time he called I couldn’t go to Europe.” Asked if she wouldn’t mind getting butt fucked in some Budapest dungeon by him, Skye says she’s over the idea of working with Rocco but if you asked her a year ago the story would have been different. Skye doesn’t think Rocco’s coming back to the states any time soon.

“Maybe if it’s a tranny movie,” she laughs. But Skye is going to Budapest for a signing. “Then I’m going to Rome, then to Berlin, too. I’m also going to Alaska. It all has to do with the signings.” Skye tries to go to Hawaii a couple of times a year and really likes Miami. “I really liked it there.”

Skye got all kinds of notoriety for romping naked at the U.S. Open one year and says she’s been in contact with those sponsors [Golden Palace] about some future projects.

“You’ll be seeing less of me soon,” she promises.
