Katsumi says it’s unfortunate but some women are in the business to get a name or are in it for the money.

“I really like my job and I try to give pleasure and do my best each time I do a scene,” she adds. Katsumi had been working a lot but is now kicking back a little. “I worked too much last year and realized it wasn’t good for my body and my mind,” she says. “I want to work less but I want to do more striptease and take care of my website. And I’m beginning to direct.” Just recently she and Katja Kassin formed a company and shot several scenes for a movie they’re putting together.

The website, www.katsumisecret.com will launch in September. By relaxing, Katsumi means she touches herself a lot. She laughs at the thought.

“I do that about three times a day,” she says. “When I relax I’m still working because I like my job so much. Everything I do is usually related to my job. And to relax, too, I draw because I want to create a line of clothes and lingerie.” She also likes going to the movies. “And I eat popcorn a lot.”

Katsumi grew up in France and currently makes her home in Paris when she’s not in the states. “But I want to move here next year.” Katsumi’s usually in the states three months at a time and maintains a “studio” in Paris. “Life in Paris is very expensive,” she says. Which makes me curious. I wonder who takes care of the joint when she’s not there. Katsumi says nobody.

“I hope nobody’s stealing my studio right now,” she laughs. “It’s very small. It’s just a place to put my clothes. But now I’m looking for my stability- that’s why I want to move here.” Growing up, Katsumi says she was a very serious student and very shy. “I would never have thought one day I’d be doing this job,” she says. Sexually she was also a late bloomer.

“And with my education I was very shy about sex,” she adds. “I had my first kiss at 17 and my first sexual relationship at 19. At 17- in my head- there was no difference between men and women. I was very naive.” Katsumi’s parents were also very strict. “They wanted to protect me because I’m the only girl and I’m the last child. And my father is Vietnamese and strict and my mother is very Catholic so they tried to protect me. But sometimes the more you try to protect somebody the more you push them into experiences.”

Her first kiss wasn’t a good memory, according to her. It was a friend from school. “He kissed me and there was this smell of beer and marijuana.” When she finally had sex, Katsumi was convinced that she wasn’t made for it. “I was thinking you just have sex for children. But I’ve changed.” Again she laughs. “Slowly I leaned to discover my own body.” Then she began dancing in clubs. “I did go-go dancing and striptease and slowly I discovered I was interested in everything about sex.” Then she acquired a boyfriend who taught her a lot about the birds and the bees. “I realized I liked it.” She also started watching porn and thought it was dirty but realized she could learn a lot from it.

“I also realized that lots of men like it,” she says. “Maybe I should learn to watch a porn movie and see why it drives people so crazy. And, soon, I was doing the same thing.” A Penthouse photographer contacted her in France. “He was looking for a beautiful girl, who was flexible, to do nude pictures. I was doing striptease, and at the same time they were looking for a girl to do movies. They asked me if I was interested. I said yes. So I tried.”

By flexible, Katsumi means she’s something of a contortionist. “I don’t know- it’s Asian blood,” she says. “I’m very flexible with my back and legs.”

Before she did porn, Katsumi found herself in a lot of gangbangs. I had to agree with her, if you want to find out more about sex, gangbangs are the way to go.

“In porn it’s different,” she laughs. “I do a lot of crazy things but it’s different because we know we’re all here for that. There is a movie to sell. But I think it’s much more crazy to do some things in private life because you can do things with people you don’t know and it’s more exciting. Then when I was 21, I had 21 guys for my birthday! My boyfriend took care of that.” Katsumi says she became a quick learner and got extreme in everything that she did.

“When I like something I want to see everything,” she says. “I want to learn more. And I came to learn a lot in a very short time. Then I’ll do something else. My career is the same. I did a lot and now I want to change my career.”

Katsumi’s no longer seeing the guy who arranged her birthday present. But she currently has a boyfriend who’d like to see her doing something else. “He respects what I do because he loves me and trusts me,” she says. “But he also hopes I’ll do something else.” Another reason that she wants to scale down her performing is so that she can have more time for her boyfriend.

“I want to take more care of him- I don’t want to come home and be destroyed and tell him, sorry, today I had a big d.p. and tomorrow I have a gangbang with 50 guys. I don’t want him to suffer because of my job. When I come home he shouldn’t realize that I’m a porn actress. It’s important to have a balanced life.”

Katsumi was about 20 when she began doing anal sex. “Then I tried a d.p, and I really, really liked that. I like that a lot.” She orgasms about 90% of the time in her private life. On screen, most of the time. “I’m very excited in my mind when I go to work,” she says. And for her it doesn’t matter about the size of the cock.

“Just good men,” she says. “I like a man who really cares about the girl- he looks into her eyes. There are some guys who have the energy and the size but are just into themselves. “Nooooooooo,” she laughs. “He’s not like that. It’s just that he didn’t want to know the truth. He didn’t say anything. And a few months ago he saw me on TV in a softcore movie. He saw me all naked and soon we had to speak. In one respect I was happy because he finally knew the truth. I wasn’t brave enough to tell him the truth.”
