Porn Valley- I chat with former Marine Seth Dickens on the set of Tom Zupko’s Big Tits, Tight Asses 2: Addicted to Cum. Dickens, 28, has been in the business about 18 months.

“When I was in the Marine Corps in Hawaii, the guy who owned the movie store on the base had contacts in the porn industry in L.A.,” Dickens explains. “He was, like, when you get out of this Corps, call this yadda-yadda. He’ll hook you up.”

I suggest to Dickens that being stationed in Hawaii must have been back-breaking duty. Dickens tells me of one instance where he’s fucking a girl underneath a scenic waterfall.”I know,” says Dickens. “Somebody’s got to do it.” Dickens would watch porn here, and there but actively chased civilian ass. That’s because he had a second job working in a nite club in Waikiki. “I was motivated.”

Dickens might have been tempted to stay. “But you develop and island fever,” he says. “Tourism was down- but it was like a cockfest at these bars. We still did well with whatever girls showed up there. But I wanted a variety of clubs so I decided to transfer here to California.” Not to make too fine a point of it, Dickens was getting ass on a very regular basis.

“I also coordinated this thing called the Pub Crawl and the Booze Cruise,” he adds. “That did real well. I had some good times with that. So Hawaii was nothing but a real good time.” Dickens addresses the question why he went into the Marines.

“I was in Minnesota and didn’t have enough money for college,” he explains. “I wasn’t an A student. It always appealed to me. I wanted to be hardcore and I wanted to travel the world and get some discipline and structure. I figured it would help me out and be a good stepping stone.” I’ve talked to a couple of people in the industry who were from Minnesota and they said it was a place where you either got high or fucked. Dickens readily agrees. “I definitely did all of the above and still do. Praise the Lord.”

Dickens was pretty active in sports growing up, especially karate. He also played baseball and hockey. “I was also a referee and umpire- I kept pretty busy.” In high school he got a job and started working. “I was all about making money,” he said. “To be on the varsity hockey team you’d have to go practice in the morning and in the evening. I just didn’t want to commit to that.” From the sounds of things I tell Dickens he was probably committed more to good times. He laughs.

The first time he got laid was from a girl in her twenties who lived upstairs in a quadraplex. “She had redhair- supposedly she was a big time slut,” says Dickens. “I went up there with a 12-pack one night. I ended up fuckin’ popping on her.” Dickens was 16 at the time. “She was a fucking whore- I loved her. I believe it was a good five or six minutes. It wasn’t too bad.”

After he joined the Marines, Dickens did boot camp in San Diego then went to Camp Pendleton for hand-to-hand combat training and more schooling as an infantry/communicator. On the weekends, Dickens would do his communicating in Tijuana. “We got in a van and we would do our drinking down there.” After communications school is when Dickens got his transfer to Hawaii.

“That’s when the partying really started,” he said. “But between this partying there were plenty of times when we’d have to go on Ops and a lot of bullshit and pain. But it was all good and the experience was worth it. It was very enjoyable.”

The first time Dickens got in front of a porn camera was when he and his fiancee did a video. “It was for Naughty American where she was a Latin school teacher and I was the student trying to learn some Spanish,” he says. “Then we did a sexual G-spot video. Then she said she basically couldn’t do any more that she wanted to become a certified flight instructor. It had a morality clause in there, but she said, honey, you can keep on doing it.” Dickens is getting married in April.

Dickens’ fiancee isn’t bothered by the fact that he’s in porn. “We’re swingers and we have been swingers,” he says. “I don’t talk about it when I go home. I bring home good money. And being swingers is helpful to that, I would assume, on her part. Because we go out and have a real good time at these swing parties. But if anything is ever bothering her, she would tell me.”

Dickens feels his name is getting out there. “People are bumping into me at the convention last year- they’re going, oh yeah, I’ve heard your name. It’s very cool to see myself on screen and just doing what I absolutely love to do and will continue to do as long as I physically can.”

According to Dickens, Kimberly Kane was the first porn girl he worked with after his fiancee. “It was for a Vivid shoot,” he says. “She was fucking phenomenal. I love blonds. So she was just awesome for me. She’s voluptuous, curvy, cool. She gave me a ride home afterwards- a very cool chick. She’s very nice. I had a great time with her.”

And Dickens is having a great time in porn. “I can’t picture myself doing anything but this,” he says. “Every time I get a call- it might be porn involved- I get pretty damned excited and motivated. Fuck.”

I ask Dickens how he manages to maintain staying power during his sex scenes.

“The couple of the tricks to staying power,” Dickens continues, “is doing the exercises where you squeeze off your own piss. I do those a couple of sets a day. I sit there and squeeze. You contract and let go. It builds your PC muscle. And when I’m fucking a chick, about 50% of the time I can be thinking oh this fucking chick is beautiful, she’s fucking tan, long fucking hair, fucking great fucking lips, a great kisser- this is fucking great. But if I keep thinking about that, 100% of the time, I’m going to pop in about two minutes. So I think about how many variations of blond are in her hair. I try to focus on one thing instead of the whole package, so I don’t get too involved. I also think to myself I want to make sure she gets off so she’ll want to work with me again. We’ll rock n’ roll.”

Dickens is asked if he’s had any worst day in his life scenarios on set. “I don’t even want to say the name of the company- they might get pissed off,” says Dickens. But he had to fuck “an OLD ass chick”. “She was old. She was like the record-setting old chick I ever banged. She was like 58. And, man, she was hideous. But she was cool and she did like to get fucked. I just tried to play off of that, that she was into it.” Dickens said the scenario was a MILF pickup in a limo. “All fucking day, basically.”

Being a Marine, Dickens found out that the uniform was a big draw as far as getting ass was concerned. “In Minnesota there’s this one place where everyone goes to eat chow. It’s pretty much a little strip mall. In that mall there’s the Air Force, the Navy, Army and Marine Corps- all the recruiting centers. Every day we’d go to eat there and there’d be groups and droves of women just hanging out in the Marine Corps office- not signing up to become Marines, but always in there, talking, hanging out with the recruiters. It wasn’t the same girls. It was different all the time.”

Dickens notes that although you’re not authorized to be off base in uniform, there’s one day of the year for the Marine Corps ball. “I wore my uniform out to a club and I got some awesome responses- pretty much effortless hookups. It was pretty good.”

Dickens loves the business and the people in it. “People are very relaxed and sociable,” he states. “You come on a set, have some food, kick back, talk to the girl that you’re going to be banging in a couple of minutes. You think to yourself rock the fuck on.”

Getting to the Keifer Sutherland lookalike situation, Dickens says he gets that as well as Val Kilmer comparisons. “And Johnny Bravo, the cartoon character,” he laughs. If there’s one girl in the business he’s looking forward to working with, it’s Carmen Luvana, he says. “I believe she agreed to put me on her list. She is pretty goddamned beautiful. I’ve also wanted to work with Jessica Drake for many years. I was a fan of hers before I got in porn. She was just IT. Gorgeous. And she’s a blond- any hot blonds out there, just bring it on.” Dickens points out that his fiancee is a blond, as well.

When I talk to Dickens about coming in on a Zupko shoot and fucking Vanilla Skye in the ass, the eleventh hour, he says he was glad to do it.

“Another fucking pop,” he observes. “Another fucking good time. Plus they give me money for it. Fuck, that just tops it off right there. I walk off the sit and be in a car- I will be pretty much officially giddy for goddamn good seven to eight minutes. I’ll go fuck, yeah, fuckin’ awesome. This rocks. Thank you, Jesus!”
