New York- I spoke to Tabitha Stevens this morning after she got back to her hotel room in New York. She had done the Stern show and Nick Manning, calling from California, proposed to her earlier on the air.

Stevens said she was in shock. “It’s funny,” she said, “Because I’ve been talking to the Stern people, the producers- I’ve been on the show now for what? Three years. Some of them knew ahead of time. I guess Nick got a hold of them last night. I had no idea about this whole thing. I talked to Nick right before I went to bed last night. And I had spoken to my sister. She was telling me how she really liked Nick and how good he was with my nieces. He met my family at Thanksgiving. And I am telling Nick last night my sister really likes you. He’s met my sister and mom a couple of times. I said you’re really great with the kids and my whole family likes you. I just want you to know that. He said oh, that’s great.

“That’s awesome,” she continued. “He thought that Stern people had called me and told me that he was going to ask me to marry him. But I was just telling him what was going on, that my sister really likes him. Then when I went on the show I thought it was really weird. What’s going on here? Nobody’s told me anything. I think Howard was almost thinking that I had something to do with it at one point. I’m so confused because I got on the show ready to do my show and then this happened to me. I had taken a Xanax this morning which is the truth because I was getting anxiety because of the whole spanking machine because I didn’t know how hard he was going to hit me.”

Stevens said she didn’t want to have a panic attack and flip out on the show. By the time she got on the show the Xanax kicked in and Stevens was feeling mellow. “I was standing there and didn’t know how to react because I was in shock. So I didn’t think anyone knew what was going on,” she laughs.

We talked about the incident where Stevens vomited her dooty. “That happens sometimes,” she says. “It has to go out somewhere. I did. I cannot lie about that. I ended up in the hospital with a 107 fever. It was a crazy thing. Going from that to getting asked to get married, how do you do that?”

At the time I talked to her Stevens was in bed feeling tired. “I’m thinking we’re engaged. I have a fiancee,” she says. “Of course this isn’t the first time for me but this is the first time that anyone’s done it this way.” Stevens said she spoke to Manning after the show and asked why he did it on Stern.

“Why didn’t you do it on Christmas or something. Like in front of me. He said I didn’t think you’d believe me. We talked about one day getting married but you really have to ask somebody to do it- the right way in order for them to understand it. He said the only way I thought it would be the best way would be for me to do it on Stern because this way everyone would know how much I really love you. I’m laughing, thanks for eating up my air time. We were joking and laughing about it.”

I asked Stevens about the egg in her ass. She says it was a regular egg.

“How can you put a regular egg in your ass crack without it breaking that way?”

“It was like right on top,” Stevens explained. “It wasn’t inserted. It was laying right on top of my butt cheek. It was going to break anyway. And once I bent over the machine, because my butt’s so small, when they whacked it the first time, it did a little crack, I guess. But it didn’t crack all the way. It took three times for it to actually crack open and pour down my leg.”

Stevens said they wanted her on the show just for a regular interview and she hadn’t done one in about three years. “To me I needed to add something more to the show. I wanted them to have a good show. I didn’t want it to be boring. I said I wanted to do spanking. They said no problem. Then I added the egg. Has anyone tried an egg? They said, yeah, good.”

I asked what the protocol would be for The Playboy Mansion parties. “Do you take Nick with you now?”

Stevens said the first time she was out publicly with Manning was the XRCO. “That was our first public appearance, dating. But we haven’t really done a whole lot. Again, I haven’t shot porn in three years. Now I’m getting ready to shoot one and I think I’ll put Nick in it,” Stevens laughs.

Stevens now in the business ten years says she doesn’t have the hangups about it. “To me, when you go to work, it’s your job To me it’s another day at the office except you might get a yeast infection. Other than that, what are you going to do? It doesn’t bother me. I’m super cool about it. For a lot of girls it’s hard. I’ve seen it happen where girls get really jealous because other girls want their man. But you know what? Nick’s mine so I don’t worry about it.”

I talked to Stevens about the drama involving Manning and Chef Jeff recently when Manning was supposed to have been physically abusive to Jeff’s girlfriend Kinzie Kenner during the shooting of a scene.

“What was your perspective on that whole thing?”

Stevens said the only thing that got to Manning about that whole episode is when Jeff called him a pussy and she suspects that it was Manning’s friends who goaded him into action. “He told me about this and I told him drop it. It’s a jealous guy. The guy [Jeff] is obviously very jealous. I said what did you do with the girl because when you work with Nick- and I’ve never worked with him- I know he’s crazy at work but I’m crazier around him at home than he is to me.” Stevens said she’s also worked with Robert Herrera on whose set the incident took place.

“The last movie I did was with Robert Herrera,” says Stevens. “Robert won’t let that happen. I know Robert. That was the first thing I thought. That’s crazy. That’s ludicrous. Plus the girl thanked Nick after the scene was over. Nick told me she even thanked him. She thought it was good and it was fine.”

Stevens said she’s been on so many sets and knows if someone did something to her, she would say something and stop the scene. “That’s just how it is. I guess she had said something that ‘I was digging my nails into you.’ You know how many times I’ve dug my nails into guys?”

“That’s more of a signal to encourage someone to go on,” I tell Stevens.

Stevens said you grab somebody. “Just say it- I’ve had scenes where they’ve been a little bit hard on me and I’ve mouthed it out of the side of my mouth. If there’s something wrong you can cut. You have that ability.”

Stevens said when she first heard the story it sounded like a rape. “It was amazing to me. Here’s this guy going on. I think he was just jealous because his girlfriend was working with the hottest guy in porn. Sorry. It’s not his fault he’s really handsome and has a big one and he’s popular. It’s not his fault.”

Stevens was also of the impression that there was no way that Jeff could stand up to Manning.

“To me it’s nuts,” Stevens continues. “That’s just a guy who’s insecure. I don’t know him. But if anyone’s going to call out Nick and you don’t know him, Nick is very cool and very nice but don’t piss him off. He will snap you like a twig. Unless you’re able to fight and you’re sure of yourself, don’t call him out. He doesn’t care. You could knock him down ten million times he’ll come right back up until he gets you. That’s how he is.”

Stevens notes that she and Manning don’t live together. “How crazy is this,” she says. Stevens uses the word old fashioned.

“On our first date I had him take me to dinner and I met him,” she said. “And I wouldn’t sleep with him the first night. When we were spending more time with each other we went to the St. Regis in Dana Point. And we stayed there for four days. I said we’re going to go somewhere and get to know each other. And if we feel right, we’re going to do it that way. That’s what happened and it escalated from there. It’s kind of neat. It took it’s time. Now it’s turned into this.” Steven said the suggestion has been put forth to get married on the Stern show. “Maybe we’ll do that on the Vegas Stern show.”

Stevens said she told Manning that she really wanted to do it in Hawaii. “But so many people want to be part of this.” Stevens would also like to pitch the idea of a reality show starring her and Manning.

“That would be one funny show. Then we would have people like Chyna fight Nick. That would be great.”
