HOLLYWOOD, CA- As expected, the landmark political thriller Corruption from Sex Z Pictures blasted out the door last Friday in record numbers shattering the first week DVD sales mark set by the company’s Desperate Housewives #2 earlier this year.
Directed by Eli Cross and starring rising superstar Hillary Scott, Corruption has been met with open arms by retailers coast to coast who are stocking store shelves with what many are saying is the best adult movie of 2006.
“We knew Corruption would be our biggest hit ever. Corruption tells the twisted story of California’s first Republican Senator in many years whose thirst for power gets the best of him and those around him.
David Walker Helms, California’s first Republican senator in more than a decade is a power-hungry, perverted sociopath who views ethics and morals as inferior codes of conduct adhered to by lesser mortals. The brash Senator positions his entire life around getting a shot at the oval office where he stands poised to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2008. With the help of his wife Carolyn Helms, he embarks on a freakish journey that will leave you on the edge of their seat.
With clever direction, a bold and daring script, superb acting and an arsenal of incredible sex acts, Corruption has everything needed to earn movie of the year status and looks poised to be at the top of the roll call when titles are called for best feature of the year.
“It would be incredible to win but I really think that this might just be the best picture put out there in 2006. If somebody has truly made a better movie, I’ll be the first to buy it and congratulate them,” Kenney offered.
