VENICE, CA – And there he is again. Just a year ago he was an alt-porn star with hopes of crossing over into adult’s mainstream. Now he is the reigning AVN Best Male Newcomer and certainly among the favorites to take home the New Male Performer of the Year prize at next week’s XBIZ Awards.
In the meantime, one can find him in titles like Interactive Sex With Alexis Texas, Meggan’s Sexy Stories, The Office 2: A XXX Parody and the upcoming Not Really The Dukes of Hazzard. He is also in the current (March) issue of Club in a penetrating layout with fire-haired Faye Reagan.
“Last year was about establishing myself as both a strong performer and as a solid actor,” Dane says. “I want to be able to tackle any role that comes my way, whether it be a gonzo quickie or a dialogue-intensive character. Both are fulfilling in their own way.”
Of course, little acting was required for the Club shoot, since it was done with a still camera (shot by the one and only Holly Randall) and Faye and Dane are in a long-term relationship.
“Yeah, it sucks having to get paid to nail to the same sweet piece of ass I’m going to get again the second we get home,” he laughs. “Pornography has been very, very good to me.”
