Poen Valley- Wankus couldn’t let a good Friday go without commenting on Dave Pounder. That’s because Pounder sent out an industry wide press release earlier in the day that he was retiring to study Media Effects at Indiana University.

“If you’d like to know the effects you had on the adult media, let me know,” Wankus commented wryly. “I can certainly help you with that. You’ve given me content for two years and I appreciate that.” Wankus said Pounder is a nice guy. “And it’s hard to hate the bastard. The problem is he’s just one big fucking pain in the ass.” Wankus said he saw Pounder on the set of Sex Factor last week which was hosted by Wankus and Cytherea. “I was sober,” said Wankus. Meaning, rumors were abundant that Cytherea wasn’t.

“Dave was one of the featured guests of the show,” Wankus explained. “We had a pool side of people- like 40 or 50 people there.” Wankus said the girls in the show had to pick contestants in the crowd to get it on with for competitions. Wankus said the contestants were people who looked good sitting around the pool. Along with that there were “featured extras” that the girls could choose to fuck around with. In other words they were hardcore people or people who had experience fucking around. “So when they filmed it, it didn’t look fucking ridiculous.” Pounder was apparently one of them.

On the first day of the shoot the girls got to choose from the featured extras all of whom wore distinguishing hats. “It was mostly guys,” said Wankus. Wankus said five girls from the stage then would go out into the audience. “Dave’s picked last- he’s the last choice.” According to the script, the girls would have to take their choice into a room and get them naked as fast as possible.

Wankus said Pounder tends to dress like the goofy kid with the big hat in the film Sandlot. “I feel bad. The poor guy gets picked last.” Wankus also had to chuckle because Pounder includes on his resume “caller on KROQ”.”When I called [Tom] Leykis one time, I had to put it on my resume,” Wankus laughed. “I got through on Leykis.” Pounder being an extra was not supposed to be hanging around the production crew. But, according to Wankus, Pounder would attempt to shoot the breeze with the director.

“I was having a one-on-one with the director because they were trying to go over shit that I needed to know,” Wankus continued. “And he [Pounder] walks up and has a fucking chat about the weather. He walks away and the director is, who the fuck was that? I’m, like, somebody you hired. But the next day was real embarrassing for Dave.” Wankus then apologized for outing Pounder.

“We did a scene where they had to do a sex scene,” said Wankus. “The girls would select any one for the crowd that they want. Any fucking one. They got rid of the 40 extras. Now it’s just three guys and two girls.” Pounder was one of the three guys and the two girls were Regan Anthony and a girl whose name escaped Wankus.

“Each girl can select one or several partners from this group- to take in a room and just fuck and go crazy. Some girls picked two girls and a guy. Some girls two guys and a girls. Whatever. Dave was never picked. The director would come over to me and say hey move Dave to the front so the girls see him and maybe pick him.” Even with that, the girls looked past Pounder.

“I felt so bad for the guy,” Wankus laughed. “He was the only one sent home early because he had nothing to do.” Wankus took that as a good sign that Pounder went on to study Media Effects. On the set Pounder also told Wankus that he had to retire because he has a girlfriend now.

“But she doesn’t know I’m here doing this,” Pounder noted. Wankus said not to worry. Pounder wouldn’t get in trouble because he didn’t do shit. “Except sit there in your shorts and hat and annoy people. But it’s all good. Dave’s a good guy.”

Co-host Katie Morgan saw Pounder’s as a fabulous career, tragically cut short. Morgan said she had been scheduled to do Pounder’s second scene in porn. Except Pounder couldn’t get wood, said Morgan and the second girl in the scene tried to levitate him. “He never even got close- they switched out the guys before I got near him.”
