Los Angeles, CA – KLSX 97.1 FM, a CBS radio station based in Los Angeles, has signed adult film producer/performer Dave Pounder to host a call-in radio show regarding dating, relationships, current events, and issues surrounding the adult entertainment industry. Pounder has solicited the help of long-time industry friend Chase Styles to co-host the show. The program, Real Talk with Dave Pounder and Chase Styles, will air live on Friday nights from midnight-1am beginning January 26th.
“This is not your typical porn ‘radio’ show on the internet that tries to shock the listener or get people to engage in sexual acts; rather, this is a real radio program that will address important issues that pertain to most people, and the discussions on the adult business with be approached from a more academic and/or business standpoint,” explained Pounder. “This show clearly illustrates a growing trend in the convergence of adult and mainstream media.”
The program will have notable industry guests as well as governmental officials, academic experts, celebrities, and even musicians. Paul Fishbein, president of the adult industry’s largest trade organization, Adult Video News (AVN), will make the first guest appearance on the program scheduled to air live on February 2nd.
“This show is taking the Seinfeld approach to television and applying it to radio,” said Pounder, “It is essentially a radio show about nothing, just real talk about whatever is going on in the world – reality radio in a sense.”
Los Angeles, the second largest radio market in the country, has over 15 million potential listeners. Plans are already underway to syndicate the show in New York and Chicago. People residing outside of the Los Angeles broadcast area can listen to the show online at www.971freefm.com.
