Los Angeles, CA – Hot on the heels of winning Best Interactive DVD at January’s AVN Awards, Digital Sin has been honored with two nominations in the same category for My Plaything: Carmen Luvana and My Plaything: Jenna Jameson 2 for this year’s Empire Awards, the first awards to acknowledge technological advancement and achievements in adult DVD productions!

My Plaything: Jenna Jameson 2 features the queen of porn in the follow-up to her first highly-successful Plaything title, except this time she takes on a boy! In addition to romping with the opposite sex and sharing a hot scene with Carmen Luvana, the sequel – shot with high-definition cameras – also offers better color saturation and cleaner lines, all of which translated into record sales for the title. Speaking of Carmen, My Plaything: Carmen Luvana features the Puerto Rican hottie looking naughty in lingerie or nice in a Catholic school girl outfit with the user’s choice of dialogue to match their mood. The title, also shot with high-definition cameras in a widescreen format, features a “Cum on Q” option for users to make Luvana orgasm at their will, and the ability to choose multiple angles for each scene.

“It was both challenging and rewarding to shoot those installments of the Plaything series,” says Tyrone Shuz, who directed both titles for Digital Sin. “It’s always an effort to push the boundaries of technology with each new Plaything. The challenge with Jenna was to make a product that didn’t mirror the original, but served to compliment it as a set so that fans felt like they got a different experience with both projects. And Carmen is one of the most beautiful of the new breed of adult actresses. She was a pleasure to work with in both Jenna’s title and in her own Plaything.”

The winners of the Empire Awards will be announced in April.
