from www.hollywoodreporter.com – Halo-8 Entertainment has acquired worldwide distribution rights to Ramzi Abed’s “The New Erotic,” a documentary about the erotic art/alt porn movement. A limited theatrical run is planned, followed by a DVD release in early 2010.

The doc features such performers as Eon McKai,[pictured] Vena Virago, Dave Naz and Jack the Zipper and erotic photographers Alejandra Guerrero and Ed Fox.

It is Halo-8’s third collabortion with Abed, who also directed “The Devil’s Muse” and “In a Spiral State,” whic hits DVD shelves on Sept. 29.
