Porn Valley- In my recent chat with Eric Hunter, Shy Love’s ex-husband, I asked him about his wedding to her.
Hunter touched a little on that in an e-mail he wrote today, www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=27814 but his comments in the interview provided way more detail.
Love’s family didn’t show up to their wedding.
“She never had a good relationship with her father, and he’s an interesting guy,” explains Hunter.
“I’ve only talked to him once in my life. I’m Jewish. And he got on the phone when he found out we were getting married. He told me he was proud of us because the Jews are God’s favorite people. He’s Catholic. And that was the entire conversation I had with him my whole life. I talked to her mother four times. She’s in Connecticut and her [Shy’s] sisters are all in different states. They all have families and they complain all the time about not having money.
“I assumed that her father didn’t come to the wedding because they didn’t have a relationship.,” Hunter continues.
“And her mother didn’t come to the wedding- this is unfortunately a fact- my parents paid for the wedding. My father’s a doctor and fairly prominent. Since they paid for the wedding, she wanted to see if we would pay to fly her mother out for the wedding because her mother couldn’t scrounge together $500.
“And we had the room all set up. All she had to do was get a ticket. Her mother’s a chain smoker. If she didn’t smoke for a month she could have come to our fuckin’ wedding. Seriously, if you look at it on paper, chain smokers spend $50 to $60 a week.
“I don’t know why her mom didn’t come, but we weren’t permitted by my parents to pay,” states Hunter.
“My parents said you know what? If we’re paying for the entire wedding, and it’s standard for the bride’s parents to pay, my parents were more than happy to pay for the wedding, but they didn’t want to pay to bring someone’s mother to the wedding who had no legitimate excuse for not coming.
“Her mother goes out to niteclubs. Her mother dates younger men. According to Shy her mother’s never dated anyone over 25. She could have saved the money to come to the wedding or sent a card or a gift. But she didn’t do that.
“My only assumption I can give you is whatever relationship she has with them is not a family relationship. To be more specific, Shy Love’s only problem in life is that she’s not a human being. She’s a business-minded person but she’s not a business person because she doesn’t know how to be totally professional.
“She can’t separate her feelings from business. You can’t allow your feelings to impact business. You can get angry in your head but you can’t portray that to others because it will be used against you. And she doesn’t get it. She’s not a person any more. It’s all about money.”
