from www.examiner.com – Spanish filmmaker Erika Lust took top honors last Friday at the 7th annual Feminist Porn Awards, presented in Toronto by Good For Her, winning Movie of the Year for her film Cabaret Desire.
The 75-minute film, which got its U.S. premiere at the CineKink NYC Film Festival in February, was shot in Barcelona but is based on the real-life Poetry Brothel in New York, whipping up a frenzy of poetry and passion.
It’s the second win in a row for Lust, who also won Movie of the Year at the 2011 Feminist Porn Awards for Life Love Lust.
Tristan Taormino, also a repeat Feminist Porn Awards winner, won the Smutty Schoolteacher Award for Sex Education for her film The Expert Guide to Advanced Anal Sex, part of Vivid Entertainment’s Vivid Ed series.
Taormino won Hottest Kink Movie in 2011 for Rough Sex 2, and received Trailblazer of the Year honors and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010, as well as the Smutty School Teacher Award for The Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men.

Maxwell Lander (Sexiest Short for Emile); Petra Joy (Steamiest Straight Movie for The Female Voyeur); and Nica Noelle (Most Arousing Adaptation for Last Tango).
