Fayner Speaks Out on the Art of the Scoop

Fayner Posts: In no way am I ever interested in out-scooping my fellow porn reporters when it comes to a scandalous story in PornVille. It’s just not my thing. Usually when another site gets the scoop I stay away from it altogether. And when I do work from someone else’s exclusive report, I give them full credit for pointing me to the tale.

But now I must ask the same of Gene Ross over at www.adultfyi.com, who now has twice taken credit in the last week for two of my extremely sparse scoops here on LukeFord.

First, there’s the thing with the porn star I won’t mention by name and her fling with Tom Green. Gene said this about it being brought up on the Howard Stern Show.

Carey also said that Green broke up with her because her date with him was recorded on a porn website. Carey credited Luke Ford.com with the story when, in fact, the story was recorded in exhaustive detail on therealgeneross. Then, again, Carey fucks Scott Fayner so our suggestion to Mr. Fayner is to check for lesions.

Sorry, Gene, but I did get the story before you. She told me hours after it happened, and I posted it on September 2nd. And although I can’t acquire your archives because everything scoots over to your new site, I remember in your interview with her days later that you asked something about the rumors that she’d been with Tom Green. That, my friend, came from me and this here site. And I spoke to the gal in question yesterday who told me that you chatted with her after Stern and was angered that she said the leak came from here and not from you. She did that because it’s the truth.

Next comes this little gossip piece. Gene writes:

AVN runs a big headline on their site today reporting Taylor Rain signing a contract with Legend. Adultfyi reported it September 18.

Again, Gene, I beat you to the punch on this one. Months ago, on June 22nd, I reported that Taylor would be signing with Legend in the near future. That’s almost three months, 90 days ahead of your report.

Now please don’t take this as me trying to curdle your cosmic contributions to this industry and the art of journalism. I hold your work in high repute, and do admit that you uncover much more dirt than I ever will. But I just wonder why you’re so eager to take my glory on these two scoops? Do you also beat little retarded white kids at basketball just because you can? And here I was thinking we were compadres in this battlefield of smut reporting…

And I don’t fuck the chick running for California governor. I fucked her. Twice. And the second time I wrapped it.

Gene sez: If nothing else, Scott, you’ve proven to me that I should actually spend less time tanning/hanging out in the gym and more in front of my computer smoking, drinking, and snorting, er, reading Lukeford.com so I won’t sound like a pasty faced, pencil-necked chump in the future. My humble apologies.
