National Condom Day is celebrated on February 14th, but it is the kick off of National Condom Week. It’s a great thing to bring awareness to in this day and age.
National Condom Week started in the 1970s at the University of California-Berkeley (no surprise there!) with the simple purpose of promoting safe sex.
Safe sexual practices need to be discussed more openly if people want to cut their risk of catching and spreading sexually transmitted diseases, as well as helping to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
