from www.naplesnews.com – In an interview Tuesday on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, a syndicated radio show broadcast live from Tampa, former Fort Myers Beach Manager Scott Janke denied any wrongdoing in his recent firing, defended his porn-star wife’s profession and plugged her Web site live on air.
“I know that I’ve done nothing wrong,” said Janke. The show’s host took a similar stance.
“I think this is absolutely ludicrous,” said Bubba Clem.
“I would like nothing more (than) for your husband to get his job back,” Clem told Janke’s wife, Anabela Mota Janke, who goes by the screen name Jazella Moore, “Or, better yet, not get his job back and sue the hell out of that municipality and make millions and millions of dollars, because you’re right, what you do has no bearing on how Scott (Janke) does his job.”
Despite Clem repeatedly insisting that Janke, who was fired without cause, should sue the city for wrongful termination, Janke brushed off the suggestion, stating that a lawsuit would “only hurt the taxpayers” who were “innocent” in his firing.
Janke said that he and his wife had received a multitude of emails since his firing, most of which were sent to his wife, and virtually all of which, he said, were from people offering support for the couple.
“A lot of them are saying what you guys are saying – sue them,” Scott Janke told Clem and the show’s co-hosts.
Asked whether she planned to continue working in pornography, as she said she has since February 2008, Anabela Mota Janke told Clem her decision was fiscally motivated.
“Right now, what would you do if you were in my situation,” she asked. She told Clem that she has been in about 30 films and has been featured in six photo shoots since she entered the porn industry.
Throughout the interview, both Scott Janke and Clem mentioned Anabella Mota Janke’s Web site, JazellaMoore.com, several times. Anabella Mota Janke said that the site is being updated, with new content for a growing fan base.
“We’re going to have a new Web site that’s going to have a lot of new stuff,” she said.
Scott Janke said he was hopeful that he would find a similar position to the one he recently lost elsewhere.
On the topic of the media storm and the swirling controversy that has surrounded her husband and family in recent weeks, Anabela Mota Janke defended her chosen career and lifestyle.
“You know, at least my skeletons are out of the closet,” she said. And, as for her detractors…
“They have skeletons hidden very well,” she said.
While on the show, Clem discussed the possibility of having a “MILF contest,” featuring Anabella Mota Janke, on the show at a later time, a notion Scott Janke welcomed.
After the interview ended, Clem called for his listeners, who he refers to as the “Bubba Army,” to dig up dirt on the members of the five-member Fort Myers Beach Town Council, who he named personally.
“In my opinion, I think they’ve opened up a huge can of liability,” said Clem.
“If you know something of these people… everybody has something that they’re not proud of,” the radio host said.
The Bubba the Love Sponge show originates in Tampa and is broadcast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays. The syndicated show is rebroadcast on Sirius-XM channel Howard 101 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
