Porn Valley- After my posting this morning about grifters and deadbeats working the adult industry, I was reminded of an incident that struck very close to home involving a former webmaster of Adultfyi. A well known website in the business needed some work done and asked for a reference. Not knowing better at the time, I recommended Mike Gardner who was manning our site at the time. He’s no longer doing so and now I can see why.

Website guy relates it this way: “I contacted him, and he gave a great line of crap. I mailed him $500 up front. He never did anything. He gave several reasons (car accident, for one). I tried to contact him several times. After about a month he called. Very apologetic. I asked for my money back. Never saw a dime. I contacted police, a collection agency, and finally BBB. He never responded to the collection agency or BBB. Was told by the cops to forget about it and write it off.”
