Lubbock, Texas- The city’s last strip club is re-opening Friday night but this time, it won’t be a strip club.

However, it will return to a former name. The building is located on Avenue Q near 34th. It will open as “Players.” That’s the same name the bar had when it was a strip club. That was followed by “Baby Dolls.”

The city denied the sexually oriented business permit, so this time the “Players” dancers will wear bikinis and the business will also serve food.
