Free Speech Coalition’s Bill Margold margoldsworld.com was on KSEX Friday night. Margold was touting a FSC fundraiser Monday night at the Westchester Sports Grill (5630 Manchester Blvd.) called Spanking Censorship III, the Final Slapster. “There is spanking because women put on lingerie; they auction it off,” said Margold. “As the men come up and take it off with their teeth, they get spanked. I have hand made paddles ready to go.” Summer Haze and Selena Steel are among the women who will participate.
Wankus asked Margold about his feelings that women should be 21 or over before they’re allowed to get into the business. “I’ve wanted to raise the age to 21,” said Margold. “I don’t think at 18 or 19 you’re ready to make a choice that will make you sociologically damned for the rest of your life. The sociological damnation comes from people who jack off to us from their left hand and pushes us away with their right because we live in a nation of hypocrites. Why would I want to subject people who are 18 or 19 who don’t know what they’re going to do for the rest of their life to something that will haunt them for the rest of their life?”
Wankus brought up the criticisms leveled at FSC, particularly the often asked question, what has Free Speech done for us? “What do they want done?” Margold asks. “They have to let us know they even exist in the first place. The silent majority doesn’t say a goddamned thing and that’s what’s wrong with the world we deal with because our fans don’t admit that they are fans. The silent majority that jacks off and refuses to admit are the ones who are really guilty. It’s a guilty nation we live in, kid.” Margold’s also of the opinion that Bush is going to get re-elected.
“The Free Speech Coalition is the umbrella organization for every other form of adult entertainment in the world,” Margold went on to say.
Margold: “It covers all the dance clubs; it covers the Internet. But the problem is the X-rated industry is so determined to eat itself alive from within, nobody will believe in one organization. They all want to have their lil’ tiny organizations. You can’t do that. You need to join the Free Speech Coalition. You need to support the Free Speech Coalition because it’s the only game in town. And after Bush gets elected, that’s when we will unite. As I told the Meese Commission, leave this industry alone and we’ll destroy ourselves. When they start coming after us, we’re going to come right back after them. Then we’ll fight back when the handwriting’s on the wall. Right now the Free Speech Coalition is the only game in town for he industry. Not for the fans, because it isn’t for the fans; and the performers- I’m trying to now sort of train the Free Speech Coalition that every time somebody does something for us you will get to be a free member of the organization- like a service club type of situation. We’re all on the Island X, kid. There’s no delusions of grandeur here. We’re all tainted by one letter which is essentially a twisted cross.”

Haze: These girls wouldn’t be able to do what they’re doing in these clubs as feature entertainers or showgirls if it wasn’t for the Free Speech Coalition or for people like me standing up for their rights. Mary Carey couldn’t have run for governor if it wasn’t somebody like Bill starting Free Speech or PAW or anything like that. All these girls treated me like crap. There was a handful that were really nice but then the majority of them- I’ll even say Devon Michaels which I can’t stand after she treated me like crap. She thought she was queen shit. If it wasn’t for me and Bill preaching about how important it is to know what you’re doing and where you’re going and how you’re doing it and stuff like that and watching out for yourself, there wouldn’t be adult performers, or feature entertainers or showgirls or whatever the crap is they’re calling themselves.
