Having moved here a year ago from Seattle, the adult actress parlayed her self-built online success into a contract with Digital Playground, one of the adult industry’s biggest production companies, last August.

After starting her own Web sites — one for solo work and one for XXX reality porn — and production company, she continued her entrepreneurship by contacting DP about a job.

“I just wanted to take my career to the next level. I’ve always loved their porn. I’ve watched (fellow DP contract star) Jesse Jane since I was in college. They were the company I wanted to be with and thankfully I worked for them, as well. It was a mutually beneficial thing.”

Alexis still does work for her own sites, but now has the opportunity to do adult feature work for the company behind Adult Video Network award nominees and winners Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, Nurses and Teachers.

“I think porn is one of those things where you have to have a lot of different things for different tastes. Gonzo’s great some of the time for some people. Maybe you want to see that on a Monday, but on Wednesday night you want to see Pirates or a feature film like that. It really allows me to explore every facet for my fans.”

Her desire to please her fans is keeping her from one of her other loves this week, though.

A huge fan of role-playing games, technology and geek culture in general, Alexis is missing out on the Consumer Electronics Show in order to (wo)man the Digital Playground booth, give interviews and meet fans.

However, if she gets a bit of free time…

“That’s up to my bosses here at Digital Playground,” she said about attending CES. “I think they should have me go over there. I think it would draw a lot of attention, maybe bring some followers back here with me, some people who might not necessarily visit here. I’m huge into tech and would love to get over there. Hopefully I can sneak away for a couple hours.”
