SAN DIEGO, Calif. — [www.760kfmb.com]- There are new allegations against a teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
Adrienne Feistel, 35, has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of lewd acts on a child.
Feistel, who taught fifth grade at Rosa Parks Elementary School, began having a sexual relationship with a boy when he was in seventh grade, according to detectives.
A search warrant statement by a San Diego police detective said Feistel was the young man’s fifth grade teacher when she befriended his family and even moved in with them for several months back in 2006.
According to the statement, the boy did not want Feistel to commit any more sex acts on him, but that she pressured him while she stayed in his family’s home.
The statement continues with the minor saying they were kissing and cuddling in more than 10 instances.
San Diego Unified School District officials said Feistel taught at the school but went on leave on Feb. 27, 2006. She resigned from the district on Sept. 1, 2006, one month after the alleged activity began.
Feistel’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 8.
