I admit- I was wearing an Eagles t-shirt Sunday but was rooting for the Giants. That’s because I know better. I know that Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb hears footsteps. I know the Eagles team hears footsteps. Unfortunately I think they’ll be hearing ’em all season and New York’s comeback from 17 points down was the beginning of a very long season for the Birds. Maybe I’ll be wrong.

Also taking some of the sparkle out of their Sunday night win over the Redskins is the fact that Dallas’ Terrell Owens broke his finger in the first quarter and will be out for at least two to four weeks. With games playing a fairly predictable scenario this week, a 12-3 record was the norm for the Adultfyi pool with seven earning those bragging rights. However that wasn’t good enough to meet the standards set by Harry Weiss and Big Ty both of whom came out 13-2 after it was all over. Even with that Harry and Ty have to move over for the leaders at the end of Week 2 with one more game Monday night.
