The pay site has been in development for years. In April awarded lesbian site AbbyWinters.com was contracted to assist in building a content-rich and user-friendly site.

The site is built and hosted by AbbyWinters.com, recipient of the 2011 AVN award for Best Website. The development of Girlfriends Films’ membership site was the source of industry gossip for years, as web companies courted the popular studio. The alliance with AbbyWinters.com combines the two biggest players in lesbian adult entertainment, while further extending Girlfriends Films’ global reach.
Site members are treated to a new, full-length video every day, and every week a site exclusive scene will post. The site also features Girlfriends Films’ extensive library of hit movies and sexy photos with stars like Prinzzess, India Summer and Julia Ann. The pay site is the only place to watch original talk shows, like “The Kinky & Creepy Show”. Hosts Samantha Ryan and Dana DeArmond interview sexy performers from Girlfriends Films’ movies in every episode. A second show, “The Vault” is hosted by Elexis Monroe and features commentary on clips of Girlfriends Films’ scenes. Girlfriends Films owner Dan and production crew member Candi-Girl will add their insight to “The Vault”. Episodes of both talk shows will run nearly 40 minutes in length.
GirlfriendsFilms.com will still provide fans with free portions of the site including the popular Girlfriends Films Forum, the monthly newsletter, media news feed, and the DVD and VOD stores.
In anticipation of the launch of the membership site, Girlfriends Films held weekly online contests. All who signed up to receive notifications regarding the site were automatically entered to win memberships, movies and memorabilia. The grand-prize winner was notified recently of her prize: a one-year membership, $100 in online store credit and a phone call from Girlfriends Films contract star Prinzzess.
