Porn Valley- I found myself in something of a quandary after viewing Part 3 of this five-part series. I wondered what the devil Jerry Butler’s character had to do with the plot or the price of machine guns in Massapequa.
Butler comes along- hair dyed black, talking mob talk and fucks the living shit out of Heather Hart a cousin of Cameo’s character Theresa who is, of course, The Goddaughter. But before we find out what Jerry’s up to in Part 4, he gets a loaded gun up his ass and a pulled trigger courtesy of Taylor Wayne who has this nasty habit of offing all the men she makes love to.
So now if you’ve been following the story line as I have, you probably have an additional question or two to ask yourself. That being said, the terse exchange between Aja, who’s been showing great leg so far, in and out of her dresses, and Sicilian “Godfather” Don Genardi [Fred Lincoln] proves richly rewarding if from nothing else, the awkwardly unintentional humor standpoint.
The Don who’s been in hiding in the old country because of feared retribution from The Spinelli clan for offing the guy who’d been screwing Theresa just happens to show up on Aja’s back porch in America. With her not even giving serious consideration to the registering of shock or surprise, Aja and the Don basically rehash the finer plot points for those who are coming into this thing late- how Cameo’s been indiscriminately fucking guys with vowels in their names and how bodies are adding up like porno pop ups on your computer.
Aja: I don’t understand.
The Don: I don’t understand fully myself.
There you have it from the two resident experts. Not to mention bewilderment on the part of hitman Marc Wallice who was sent to off Cameo but doesn’t have a clue what she looks like. At least this is what he conveys to Hart before screwing her in a bathtub- a prop he does recognize when she invites him to join her in it. Now I don’t know much about knocking people off other than what I’ve learned from watching Charley Bronson movies, but the first lesson taught in hit man school, I believe, is being able to pick your victim out of a crowd.
Aja also has thoughts of her own about ordering a hit from bartender Tom Chapman who apparently indulges the craft on the side. Except Chapman thinks she’s applying to be a stripper at the club he’s working and has her bend over the bar stool for a stunning session of clit licking and beautifully photographed love making. But as nicely as this scene develops, it has a long way to go to top the one featuring Cameo and Johnny Nineteen- a mob guy who doesn’t even rate a word to say. Which is just as well because Johnny, judging from the enormous size of his balls, would be hard pressed beyond a grunt and a groan from carrying that load around all day. This matchup is top notch and did well to establish Cameo as one of the most beautiful performers of her day.
Later there’s a wild scene in Chapman’s club featuring Taylor Wane grabbing a mouthful of Cameo’s ass while they’re doing a duet on the stripper’s pole. Why a Goddaughter is indulging in menial stripping is the question left unanswered but I’m sure could be resolved with a revolver parked up someone’s ass.
