from www.kansascity.com – A former postmaster pleaded guilty in federal court today to his role in the sexual torture of a young woman in Lebanon, Mo.
Dennis Henry, 51, of Wheatland, Mo., admitted that he had sex with the woman, whom prosecutors alleged was coerced to work as a sex slave for another defendant in the case, Edward Bagley Sr., of Lebanon.
Henry admitted driving to California with Bagley and the woman in 2006 for a pornographic photo shoot. In his plea agreement, Henry said that on the day of the shoot, the woman grew scared and “melted” when she realized that she may have to sustain shocks from a crank telephone that Bagley brought.
Henry also acknowledged that he never asked the woman if she needed help or offered her any assistance.
Bagley and two other defendants have pleaded not guilty in the case. Another defendant, James Noel, 45, of Springfield, pleaded guilty earlier.
Before being charged in this case in September, Henry worked as the postmaster in Nevada, Mo.
