Inspiration and Market Context

Chiku's design draws inspiration from fan art related to "Five Nights at Freddy’s" (FNAF) and "Five Nights in Anime" (FNIA). Zhou, ULoversDoll’s development manager, noted that FNAF has evolved beyond its original horror-game format into a broader fan culture, with artists reimagining characters through anime aesthetics, alternative designs, and original interpretations. Zhou highlighted FNIA fan art as an example of how a community can transform established characters into something visually distinct. ULoversDoll's projects, including Bonfie, Frenni, and Chiku, explore how these creative interpretations can be translated into physical dolls while retaining recognizable elements for fans.

This release by Gutdolls and Dolls Castle continues their exploration of character-inspired designs. Gutdolls previously launched "Lira," a centaur silicone doll from Dolls Castle, on September 22, 2026. Lira stands 4 feet, 7 inches tall with an equine body length of approximately 26 inches and weighs roughly 103 lbs. Lira features an H-cup bust, a #JS063 head sculpt, and an internal EVO skeleton. Based on the classic centaur archetype, Lira has a natural skin tone, long purple hair, and a gentle, slightly melancholic expression. A Dolls Castle representative noted that Lira's design focuses on creating an emotional atmosphere through subtle facial details and the visual contrast of long purple hair, crafting a mysterious, restrained persona for collectors who value atmosphere and artistic appeal.
