What’s Next a Ku Klux Klan sitcom? Mandingo starring Anthony Rosano in black face?
AVN.com reports that Evasive Angles Entertainment is sure to cause an uproar with its Roots XXX Parody due in stores October 31.
“It’s made pro-black, it’s not pro-white,” director and Evasive Angles owner T.T. Boy explained to www.AVN.com
“It has comedy in it; it’s something like one of the Dave Chappelle Roots [skits]. The slaves fuck all the white girls, the daughters and the wives of the masters. It’s wild.”
At the same time, T.T.admits that he’s gotten negative feedback about the project and that “a lot of people going crazy over the idea “but not in a good way.”
“We had some actors and actresses that wouldn’t partake in the movie. I had four people say, ‘No, we don’t want any part of it.'”
According to the story local members of the NAACP attempted to shut down the South Florida shoot by trying to cause the loaction’s property owners to kick the movie company out. But by then most of the movie was done.
“It looks as real as you can get. The production value is out of the world. We have costumes that are from the 1800s, they’re exact. We have a wagon that’s from 1850. It ended up costing a lot of money, because we had a lot of extras and we had a lot of stuff going on, and the cast is probably about 20 people,” T.T.Boy tells AVN.
