Krefeld,Germany – After 5 years of absence, the brand HUSTLER, with its subsidiary HUSTLER Europe, celebrates an impressive return to the second largest erotic show in the world.
The last time HUSTLER introduced its products in Berlin publicly to the trade and the consumer was at the VENUS 2002. Hustler was represented at that time by a licensee, at this show Larry Flynt was awarded a life-achievement Award.
Due to the fact that this licensee model proved to be ineffective in the following years, a 100% subsidiary was founded in Germany in the spring of this year under the name Hustler Europe.
Ambitiously the managing director Helen Clyne with a selected team set about the work and was able to count on the full support of the firms founder Larry Flynt from the beginning, being joined in June by a Hustler/LFP executive from Beverly Hills, Jeff Hawkins.
Quickly the experienced team celebrated their first public success at the Extasia Switzerland.
One of the largest goals in the first year however was the return to the most important erotic fair in Europe, the VENUS in Berlin. Hustler presented the full business-portfolio and product variety of the 34-year-old company histor
At the elegantly styled booth the HUSTLER-team, positioned directly at the entrance to the first hall, presented their complete range of products and entities on over more than 120 qm2. Starting with the extensive assortment of films, including the first HD-DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as innumerable Fashion-products, Apparel and Lingerie and Merchandise-articles.
Also their guest of honour, Jimmy Flynt, brother of Larry Flynt and president of HUSTLER Entertainment surrounded by two Hustler-Girls, caused a large media and public-interest (eg stern.de, Marc Dorcel TV, AVN Europe).
Apart from the presence of Jimmy Flynt, there was also huge interest from many national and international media-contacts as well as national and international trade contacts and innumerable consumer-visits.
The voucher-action with Video World proved to be a great success, with nearly 2.000 consumers almost one every minute redeeming their Hustler lanyard.
The Awards:
No VENUS-fair would be the same without Awards, a formal event, where the previous months of hard work were rewarded.
In their first year Hustler Europe was awarded three times in the following categories:
-“Best Interactive film” (joint venture – Hustler/Teravision)
-“Best distribution manager” – Helen Clyne
-“European Adult Lifestyle Award” – Larry Flynt

The Party:
Nobody knows how to party like Hustler. For this reason HUSTLER operates Casinos and Gentleman’s Clubs worldwide.
This year already, Hustler Europe has thrown some very successful Hustler-Fashion parties. One very special party was on the Friday evening in Maxxim-club in Berlin. The noble club was bursting at its seams at this event, the first of the over 150 VIP guests and party visitors arriving at around 23.00. As realized the next day, this club had never been so full and the organizers are already planning with Hustler Europe to throw a party in an even bigger style for the Venus 2008.
Under the prominent-guests appeared Jana Bach as well as many business associates, media representatives and clients, who celebrated all night long, some leaving in the very early hours of the morning.
The show was a great success, reestablishing the brand Hustler on the European market-a bit similar to a phoenix rising out of the ashes. Hustler Europe does not want to rest on its laurels. The VCA-program owned by Hustler had its debut in this month at the Venus show, HUSTLER Europe is also supporting the 2nd Porn Film Festival in Berlin and celebrates on the 31.10. a large “Halloween party” in the Checkers-club, Dusseldorf, sponsored by World of Video Tümmers.
