Hustler has confirmed that they’re building in Lexington, Kentucky.
Wednesday, Jimmy Flynt, brother of Larry Flynt, said they are building near Winchester Road and Interstate 75.
“Why not. I mean, this is a city that the queen comes to. I’m from Kentucky. I’ve lived in Lexington. I love the people and the city of Lexington.”
Flynt says the two million dollar project will include a cafe, clothing and some space devoted to other Hustler stuff.
“I will drive traffic to this area. I’m not talking about the sleaze element of society. I’m talking about the aristocrats of society.”
A Hustler sign will join the others along the Interstate. Councilman Al Mitchell says ‘not in his district.’
“They don’t live in our community. It might be money to them, but it’s our city. We’re going to be there to try to stop them.”
Flynt says, “It’s all not about porn. It’s all about co-existing. Get over it. Relax, it’s just about sex.”
Flynt says they plan to follow the law and hopes to open the new store sometime early next year.
