Hustler magazine has released its 52nd Anniversary Issue Collector’s Edition, featuring Desiree Dulce as the July Cover Honey and a retrospective on Larry Flynt’s favorite July covers. The issue also includes features on various adult stars and a Publisher’s Statement from Liz Flynt.
Anniversary Features and Cover Honey
Hustler’s 52nd Anniversary Issue features Desiree Dulce as the July Cover Honey, presented in a 14-page layout. The photos were shot by ThisYearsModel.com. Dulce stated that her "dream come true would be to perform onstage, either solo or with a partner, while dozens of people watch, knowing they are going to be thinking about it again and again later."
The July issue also includes "Larry Loved America," a retrospective showcasing Larry Flynt’s favorite July covers. Liz Flynt, Larry Flynt’s widow, recalled that "For Larry, America was flawed, but always worth honoring." She added that "Nearly every July cover of Hustler is a tribute to Independence Day—and to the magazine itself, which just happens to celebrate its birthday the same month as the U.S.A. This double celebration has inspired some firecracker-hot photos over the years."
Hustler magazine has a history of pushing boundaries and celebrating sex since its first issue in July 1974. The magazine has been recognized for its journalism and advocacy. Larry Flynt was noted for revolutionizing the adult magazine industry by publishing layouts that explored all aspects of sexuality, showcasing diversity and inclusivity. Examples of past shoots include “Vegas Folly,” “Trick or Treat,” and “Butch: A Black Stud & His Georgia Peach.” Other notable features have included “The Rape of Justice” and “Lust in Space.” Celebrity-directed shoots in the 1980s were helmed by stars such as Dennis Hopper and Frank Zappa. The magazine’s legacy also includes shoots in exotic locations, such as “Avery Adams: Shipshape.”
Anne Denbok, Hustler’s Editorial Director, stated in 2024, "As we celebrate 50 years of HUSTLER Magazine, I am proud to commemorate our golden anniversary with this very special issue. Our commitment to Larry’s goals of promoting sex positivity and expanding the bou."
Liz Flynt, chairwoman and publisher of Hustler magazine, reflected on the magazine’s 50th anniversary, stating that "For 50 years, Hustler has been a pivotal force in shaping the discourse around sexuality and free speech." She also noted that Larry Flynt "was a staunch advocate of the First Amendment, championing the right to free expression. His fearless approach to covering all aspects of sexuality, often ahead of his time, fostered an environment where no topic was taboo." Flynt also mentioned the magazine’s "irreverent cartoons," which are "renowned for sharp wit and humor that ranges from biting satire to lighthearted fun, illustrating our unique voice in the cultural landscape."
Additional Features and Content
The July issue features "Celebrate Sluts," which is described as a celebration of women "who know what they want and take it." John Blaylock interviewed adult stars Connie Perignon, Sophia Locke, Dahlia Dee, Sage Hunter, and Cubbi Thompson, who are described as "powerhouse performers who proudly live the mantra ‘Life is short—be a slut.’"
Another feature, "Butt of Course," is a 12-page "ode to the beauty of Ashley’s plump booty," photographed by Ellen Stagg. Ashley Alexander stated, "My favorite body part has to be my butt."
Jenna LaRose illustrates how to find happiness in "Live for Today," an exposé by Larry Flynt Productions.
"In Full Bloom" highlights Braylin Bailey, who describes how to give a blowjob. Bailey stated, "I really like to take charge when I’m sucking. And of course, I swallow—that’s mandatory," with accompanying hardcore photos.
"My First Sex Massage" features new starlets Lily Winters, Annaleigh Reno, Alexa Chains, and Selina Bentz "as they work toward an incredibly happy ending."
The July Anniversary Issue also includes two flashback stars-and-stripes classics: Ava Rose in "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Sex," a July 2008 feature lensed by Holly Randall, and "Glory," shot by Matti Klatt and featuring model Nici.
The classic Hustler feature "Beaver Hunt" offers eight amateurs’ photos and a special section dedicated to "Muff Buffs."
Publisher’s Statement
In her July Publisher’s Statement, Liz Flynt addressed "The Decline of Democracy" in America. Flynt warned that "the courts are helping to hold Trump’s would-be dictatorship at bay for now, but they cannot do so alone," and urged Americans to "please be brave enough to speak out and, most importantly, vote."
