VENICE, CA – Some porn fans have waited well more than six and a half weeks to pick up their copy of the Inari Vachs vehicle 6 1/2 Weeks, but now they can stop their crying and start their buying—the much-anticipated release is hitting stores this week.
Written and directed by Nica Noelle, 6 1/2 Weeks stars Inari as the sexually reserved party planner who meets Manuel Ferrara and follows him down the path of sexual and psychological intensities. The movie is available from Sweet Sinema.
“Obviously there were things they couldn’t show in the Hollywood version, in 9 1/2 Weeks,” Inari said. “We were able to get to the point more quickly, thus cutting out three weeks of dilly-dallying that porn fans would just fast-forward through anyway. We get down to it while still capturing that captivating sexuality that made the original so alluring. People will want to watch it all, because while the first six weeks are incredible, that last half-week is mind-blowing!”
No one knows how many weeks it will last, but Inari has taken on co-hosting duties with the Paulie K Show, offering a softer, funkier side to Paulie, a classic New Yorker with a charming built-in directness and an inexplicable Sammy Hagar obsession. She debuts on this week’s show, which features an interview with legendary director Paul Thomas.
