LONDON — UK-based adult marketing guru Jason Maskell announced he is parting ways with Harmony Films.
During his two and a half years at the company, Maskell was instrumental in establishing it as a global brand. Maskell raised Harmony Films’ profile and revenue, expanding the studio’s brand and consumer awareness. The company is now the internationally known home to award winning directors Gazzman and Tanya Hyde.
Harmony also opened its North American operations during his tenure and introduced new English talent to a worldwide audience, including current Vivid contract girl Nikki Jayne.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity Harmony’s owners, Steven Elvins and Daniel O’Sullivan, gave me by allowing me to oversee their marketing efforts,” Maskell said.
Despite being offered a position to manage the day to day operations of the company three weeks ago, Maskell said he and the owners could not come to terms with Harmony Films’ future strategy.
“I’ve gotten a fantastic response from the people in the industry since the split,” he added. “I’m eyeing my options at the moment and keeping my eyes open for interesting opportunities.”
