I get a phone call Sunday morning from adult director Joe Coool, aka Michael Hurley. Hurley claims he’s NOT the person being charged with sexual assault via an article coming from NBC’s WOWT website.

The weird coincidence of names, notwithstanding, what Hurley’s saying actually makes sense since the story has Nebraska origins, although this weblink is being passed around the adult business as some kind of proof it involves Hurley. Hurley denies the story and says this isn’t even his picture.

“This is crazy,” states Hurley who says he spells his stage name with three-O’s.

Hurley goes on to say that he’s been in the adult business ten years going on eleven. Hurley is also aware of statements that have been made in the past about him linking him to similar activity but denies their authenticity as well.

“They’re probably confusing me with this character,” Hurley surmises.

“I think somebody’s attaching my name to this guy and slandering me with this stuff. This is not real. My name, my alias is not associated to this guy.”
