Kansas City – [http://blogs.pitch.com]- A Jackson County judge this week declared an ordinance regulating adult entertainment businesses — namely Erotic City — constitutional.

The ordinance outlaws sex in video booths and forced Erotic City to shutter the booths, which were huge sources of revenue as well as meeting places for anonymous hookups. The ordinance came after Jesse Franklin Herd III was convicted of sexually abusing and prostituting his then-14-year-old stepdaughter at Erotic City. Jackson County reworked the ordinance after the owners of Erotic City sued. Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders told The Kansas City Star that the judge’s order was a “complete victory.”

No word on whether Erotic City will appeal.
