Porn Valley- This morning after she gets off the Howard Stern show www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=11078, Jennifer Steele, www.jennifersteele.com gives me a call. We talk about the first time we met- actually the day before Steele was to do her first porn scene. It was at a David Christopher shoot. It’s also a story that sends Ron Jeremy into urinals making cell phone calls so we won’t get into it, again. In any event, Steele thinks the Stern interview went well.
“I’m so happy with how everything went,” she says. “He picked on me a little bit, but it was fine. Considering what it could have been I was so happy with how it went.” Steele was on the program to put some hype into her Mexican gangbang which she’s shooting for Heatwave Entertainment, September 13.
Of all things, Steel said she was more worried about taking off her clothes. “Because I am a 33 year old woman and I have my good days,” she laughs. I tell Steele she’s the best looking naked 33 year-old I’ve seen in awhile.
“I was so happy with the good reaction that I got from that,” she adds. I told Steele I want to cover this shoot. She tells me that Jim Powers is shooting it, and that Playboy Sexcetera will be on set as well. “It’s going to be the combination of the Mexican and the fire.
“It’s not going to be some huge numbers thing,” Steele seems to think. “As much shit as people like to talk, I don’t think we’re going to have that many people show. We’re not getting as many responses as we thought we would but I think it’s going to end up being somewhere between 10 and 15 guys.” I point out to Steele that a Stern show appearance guarantees a huge spike in website readership for that day. Steel says it must judging by the fact that she booked three appointments just off that show. “It’s already made me three grand,” she laughs.
The Stern interview was not without Steele getting her taste of being smacked around. Stern kept rattling Steele’s cage about her fire show telling her it wasn’t sexy and no guys want to see it. Steele said the comments hurt a little bit. “But then I thought about it- it’s kind of his job to be like that a little bit. But that really wasn’t what the topic was about. So it was easy for him to say that.” All things considered, Steele doesn’t give a shit.
“That’s why I’m doing this,” Steele says. “It seems to be coming my schtick. I’m doing this John Waters-y stuff. But it’s working for me.”
Steele is laughing and laughing. Like Stern, I ask her if she’s on Ecstasy. She laughs.
