A representative for the film described "Transed" as a "kitsch feature" that combines sci-fi mystery, playful comedy, and uninhibited sexual exploration.

Powers stated that "Transed" is his "big feature of 2026," following "Transpirella" from the previous year. He described a scenario where a woman jogging in a park could have "green shit fall from the sky" and wake up with a penis, calling it "totally plausible." Powers also highlighted the "all-star cast" and "outrageous script" of the feature.
