On July 30, 2026, Jim Powers was announced as a recipient of four nominations for the 2026 NightMoves Awards. The nominations include Best Non-Feature Director for his overall body of work. Two of his Gender X Films productions, "Trans Salon" and "Transsexual Hitchhikers #5," were nominated for Best Trans Release. Additionally, Zero Tolerance Films' "MILF Overload #2," which Powers wrote, directed, and conceived, received a nomination for Best MILF Release.

Powers commented on the nominations, stating, "The NightMoves Awards have been around as long as I have. Thanks for the recognition. It means a lot. If you’re in the industry or a diehard fan who enjoys my work, vote for me."

This is not the first time Jim Powers has been recognized by the NightMoves Awards. In 2025, Powers received multiple nominations in the Best Trans Release category for the 33rd Annual NightMoves Awards. He directed three of the seven nominated films in that category. His Gender X Films titles "Trans Car Wash," "Trans Orgy," and "Transsexual Hitchhikers #4" all earned Best Trans Release nominations.

These 2025 nominated titles featured performers such as Brittney Kade, Jade Venus, Ariel Demure, Emma Rose, Kasey Kei, Khloe Kay, and Ember Fiera.

Powers expressed his sentiments regarding the 2025 nominations, stating, "It’s always amazing to have a job that you love, but to be recognized for it is incredible. I’m honored that these three titles were nominated and would love for one of them to win, so please vote. You only have to do it once."
