from www.examiner.com – In a court hearing on Tuesday, February 23rd, John Edward’s former aide, Andrew Young [pictured], was accused of stealing the sex tape that has been the cause of so much scandal.

Lawyers who are representing Edwards’ mistress, Riell Hunter, accused Young of stealing the sex tape that features John Edwards and Hunter together. Moreover, they alleged that he attempted to use it for monetary gain.

“It is horrifying to me that my privacy has been so invaded, even more so because it was part of an effort by the Youngs to make money,” Hunter said.

Young claims that he found the tape in a box of garbage at a home where Hunter was living. Hunter says the tape was in storage at her home.

“If they (Young and his wife) don’t have a malicious purpose, then why not return the items?” attorney Allison Van Laningham, who is representing Hunter, asked. “It doesn’t make sense for someone with proper motives to fight this fight.”
