Porn Valley- A small claims court judge this morning awarded Dino Bravo a very small claim against Sandy Bunz. Bravo, a former sales employee of the company had been seeking over $6,000 and wound up taking the company owner to small claims court for $5,000. https://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=4668
“I guess you can say I partially won,” says Dino. “Had I been a little more orderly- I’ve never been to small claims court before- I basically walked in with commission statements and a business card with my name on it to prove I worked for the man. I was seeking $5,000 but some of my commissions were initialed COD; some said Net 30. The judge offered me $1,052 in restitution and payment. I am guessing it’s pending appeal. I don’t know if Sandy’s going to appeal this or not. We really didn’t exchange any words. He walked out of the courtroom. But I won something. That’s the main thing and I’m waiting for an appeal. I don’t know what’s going to happen in 30 days. That’s basically it. I presented my case.”
Bravo claims Bunz perjured himself in front of the judge. “He never denied not owing me money,” says Dino. “He acted like he had never seen the commission statements when he was the one who created the commission statements. He basically also brought up that thing about seven stores in Texas. I said here’s the commission statement right here, your honor. None of those stores are in Texas. They’re in Nebraska, Colorado and Missouri. And he basically tried to attack my character- that I was a degenerate gambler and that I tried to slander him. The judge said he didn’t care if I did business with the Saudis and the Taliban. That has nothing to do with the money that he owes me.”
Asked how the figure of $1052 was arrived at, Dino said because some of the commission statements were documented as COD’s.
“I grilled him on that.,” said Dino. “I said, your honor, these are COD commissions. Here it is right on the bill. The check comes in ten days why wasn’t I paid on them? He also made something about the California Code of Employment that anyone who resigns you’ve got 72 hours to pay them. He never paid me but he basically denied owing me $6,000 that he got off because some of these people were Net 30s. Basically I don’t know if it was a draw or if I had won or lost. I haven’t collected a penny.
“This isn’t over yet,” Dino continued. “I’m going to await for the appeal. He may appeal in 30 days. I still have to collect from him and play Mickey Mouse games to get my money. I thought it was hilarious when he said he had never seen these documents before when he did the paper work. He has the originals and I made copies of the commission statements. I never wanted it to end this way.
“I just wanted the man to pay me,” Dino went on to say. “I made reasonable claims to him. I said pay me $100 a week. He refused to pay me. Then he tried to extort me- bring me girls and I’ll shoot you with them and I’ll pay you a little more than your rate if you knock it off the commission. I reiterated all that stuff. In fact I told the judge in my opening statement he’s going to attack my character. His defense was a sheet of paper from the www.lukeisback.com website saying that he [Bravo] harassed me in my industry and made slanderous statements about me. He handed the judge a piece of paper, something about the article. That’s what he walked up with and the judge handed it back and said all of it was irrelevant, that me stealing from him was hearsay. There was no proof. I said to the judge I wanted to take a polygraph test. The judge said it doesn’t matter- you’re both under oath. To be honest, it was juvenile and a shouting match. It’s like a divorce.”
