Kansas City Mo- The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division and Golddiggers management agreed to a two-day suspension after learning that violations of Section 10-332 of the Code of City Ordinances had recently occurred. Golddiggers is located at 5540 Bannister Road.

“Section 10-332 prohibits certain types of activity at businesses licensed as restaurant/bars, and lap dances are one of those prohibited activities if a dancer actually comes into physical contact with a customer,” said Vic Cook, acting manager of the Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department.

“We observed, on more than one occasion, lap dances being performed. We then contacted Golddiggers management to inform them of the violations. They agreed that lap dances violated City ordinance and also were in violation to their own internal policy,” Cook said.

After discussing options, the Regulated Industries Division and Golddiggers agreed to the two-day suspension to be completed Nov. 20 and 21.
