Well, considering I get close to $4000 a scene for that, money is a huge motivation. But I admit I enjoy it. I feel as a porn star it’s our responsibility to push the envelope a little. People watch our dvd’s because they want to be excited and titillated. Most pornographers have been shooting the same sex for the last 25 years. Or if they are shooting different sex it’s more violence towards women. I would much rather see our industry explore other sexual avenues like the strap on stuff wayyy before all those woman-being-abused scenes. Plus, I’m just open about it while there are way more people who are secretly into it but don’t admit it. There isn’t a guy reading this who hasn’t stuck his finger up his own ass while masturbating at least once. What kind of advice could you give to the readers in order to make them better in bed?

No, I shot my first scene in the days before there were viagra or whatever and certainly guys weren’t shooting their dicks up with caverjet (shame on you guys who are doing that now!). So I hadn’t jacked off for like a week before the shoot so I was so fucking horny that I was like a thoroughbred at the starting gate. Bang! They’re off! You know? By the way how did you start making porn?

I was touring as punk rock guitarist with Dee Dee Ramone of the Ramones. Dee Dee had started his own band after leaving the Ramones. Dee Dee died of a heroin overdose right before we were about to leave for Sweden on our European tour and suddenly I didn’t have a job anymore. My girlfriend at the time was a dancer at Jumbo’s Clown Room in Hollywood where Courtney Love used to dance. Anyway, she got approached to do some “gonzo” scenes and she said she would if she could do them with her boyfriend. What are your favorite roles?

My favorite roles are the ones I write for myself like in The Decline Of Western Civilization Part 69: The Porno Years ou L.A. Vice both out on Sex Z Pictures.

I am constantly writing songs, either in the car or in the shower, anywhere. I’m one of those people who constantly hears music in their head, I can’t shut it off. Nor do I want to. It’s the radio station of my soul and I just groove to it 24/7. Luckily, sometimes I am able to take what I hear and translate it on my guitar and record it and then the performance in front of a huge audience that just eats it up? That’s better than sex. Believe me. I would know…

What are your upcoming projects?

I’m directing two gonzo lines now also thru Sex Z Pictures. One is called “Sex Z Pictures presents Kurt Lockwood’s Thumbsuckers” it’s a teen line where I dress the girls up in pigtails and little white sox and have them suck their thumbs while I fuck the bejeezus out of them, haha. The second one is called “Lords Of Doggystyle Town” it’s inspired from the hollywood movie “Lords of Dogtown,” I’m shooting it in the same location as the original movie, Venice Beach, CA. Lock” a fictitious skateboarding legend, I pick up the girls in the skate park and take them back to my posh Santa Monica Hotel (I’m in town for the “XXX Games” haha) and then I fuck the bejeezus out of them, haha.

My next big budget features for Sex Z Pictures include “The Real Boogie Nights” where I play Dirk Diggler, Samantha Ryan is Rollergirl, Ron Jeremy is the Burt Reynold’s part, Ginger Lynn is cumming out of retirement to play Amber Waves, the Julianne Moore part, it’s gonna be set in the 70’s and just be so much fun to shoot. It’s gonna rule. After that I’m shooting the sequel to my successful directorial debut “Decline” with “Two Thousand Sex (2006): The Year Porno Broke” it’s inspired by the Nirvana/Sonic Youth rock-umentary 1991: The year Punk Broke. My version will feature more footage of my rock band (Porn City Punx-PCP) like Decline 1 did, plus it will feature interviews with pornstars as we discuss the thesis “Internet killed the dvd star.” 2006 was the year.
