Porn Valley- Jayme Langford has caused quite a tempest in a teapot this week. Repped by LA Direct, Langford this week passed on an Adam & Eve shoot claiming that she was leaving the business. But just today Langford was working on another shoot. Except it wasn’t through LA Direct.

Friday evening I spoke to Bud Lee at LA Direct.

“Jayme Langford sat in front of me at my desk at LA Direct and said to me I don’t want any more bookings from you guys,” Lee reports.

“I said you’ve accepted three of them, would you finish those for us and then we won’t do any more for you? Then she said, I don’t know. Then we talked for a little while. I said what are you going to do? Are you going back to A-List? She goes, no, no. She said I’m tired of this. I just want to get away from it. I’m just going to walk away. I said okay. Are you still going to be on Cam Smith’s site? She said, well, yeah, but he never really got that much work. And it’s softcore. I don’t mind doing that.”

“I said, Jayme, I need a commitment from you on these dates because you’ve already accepted them and I don’t want to go back looking like an asshole to these people. She said, okay Bud. I’ll do these three bookings. We shook hands on it. She did one of the three bookings.”

According to Lee, the Adam & Eve shoot was one of the two that Langford later blew off.

“She called me on the day that she was supposed to work for Adam & Eve and said I’m not going,” Lee continued. “I said why. She said I just don’t want to do it. I don’t want to take the booking. I just do not want to do the booking. I said I can call and cancel. That’s not a problem. She goes you can charge me all the kill fees you want, I don’t care. It doesn’t matter to me anymore.”

“I told her what I’m concerned with is your reputation with Adam & Eve, Bree and DCypher,” adds Lee. “And other people are going to know you just blew it off. I said that’s what you should think about. Don’t think about LA Direct Models. Think about you and your reputation. She told me she didn’t give a shit. I said okay. And that’s how it went down.”

“She sat there in a chair and told me she was quitting the business. And according to A-List they did not book her on the shoot today.”

“That’s where we stand,” says Lee.

“We signed her to a year’s contract. We don’t really want to end the contract. We thought we were being very successful with her. She came to us from A-List saying she wasn’t getting enough work and they were really nice people over there but they just weren’t getting her the work. I guess we’re not nice people because we were getting her the work.”
