FAIRFIELD, CA – A Vacaville woman is accused of breaking into the Solano County jail to have sex with her inmate boyfriend.
Lakiesha M. Jones allegedly crawled through a hole in the fence at the Claybank Road jail facility to meet with William M. Foote near the loading dock where Foote was working as a trustee.
The couple’s Sept. 1 dalliance was witnessed by a worker at the nearby animal shelter who called the jail reporting she saw Jones having sex, according to a police report.
Jones faces one misdemeanor count of engaging in unlawful oral copulation and one count of unlawful communication with an inmate.
She would have to register as a sex offender if convicted, according to court records.
Jones is free on $1,600 bail and is scheduled to be in court this afternoon in front of Commissioner Barbara James.
Foote, 21, of Richmond was in court Tuesday where he admitted he violated terms of a previous probation by having sex with Jones.
Foote was serving a year in the jail for dealing rock cocaine in front of a Phoenix Drive convenience store. He served approximately four months of his one year sentence when he had the rendezvous with Jones.
Judge Harry S. Kinnicutt is scheduled to sentence Foote, Nov. 25, probably to additional jail time. By admitting to the violation, Foote, who faced the same sex-related charge as Jones, avoids the possibility of having to register as a sex offender.
The hole in the jail fence has been repaired, according to Sheriff’s spokesperson Keith Bloomfield.
