South Carolina – from www.wyff4.com – A manhunt is under way in Laurens County for a man who deputies say illegally tattooed several minors, one of them across her pubic bone, and he also committed criminal sexual acts on the girl.

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 28-year-old Charlton Eric Brown [pictured].

Friday afternoon, deputies were actively searching for Brown across Laurens County.

The last known address for Brown, who goes by “Eric,” is 259 Durbin Ridge Road in Fountain Inn.

Investigators said that Brown was operating an illegal tattoo business out of his home. The charges followed a complaint from the parents of a 15-year-old girl whose parents found out that Brown had tattooed the girl on her pubic area.

There are warrants for Brown’s arrest for two counts criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree, two counts of lewd acts on a minor, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, eight counts of tattooing under the age of 21 and nine counts of illegal tattooing (because it was an unlicensed home operation).

Investigators said the sexual conduct charges stem from acts committed by Brown on the 15-year-old from which he “derived sexual gratification.”
The girl’s parents told News 4 that they are “outraged” by what happened to their daughter.

Brown is 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos.

Investigators said the think Brown may be trying to leave the state.
