CALDWELL, Idaho – from www.2news.tv – A Nampa man has been arrested for allegedly going into numerous businesses to call 1-900 sex hot lines.
And, in doing so, prosecutors say, he also attacked a woman in a car with the intention of raping her.
Erica Kallin, Canyon County deputy prosecutor, says Levi Talmage, 28, was arrested Sunday after he allegedly attacked a woman in her car in the parking lot of Kicks 66 in Nampa.
He reached in the window and tried to pull the woman out of the car, Kallin said.
Prosecutors say Talmage’s crime spree began on Saturday when he was going around to local businesses asking to use the phone. He would then use the phone to call 1-900 sex lines. Prosecutors did not say how long he talked on the phone or how much he billed the businesses.
He is also accused of touching employees inappropriately at those locations.
Talmage is scheduled to make his next court appearance July 13. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
