The things you learn from reading lawsuits.

If half the allegations Manwin makes against defendants Stuart Lawley, the ICM Registry and ICANN are true, it certainly supports the warnings we issued that .XXX Domains is nothing but a leeching, money grabbing, unscrupulous shake down for what amounts to vanity license plates.

The juicy part in the Manwin lawsuit about Lawley allegedly offering cash bribes to the Free Speech Coalition in exchange for support is also something that’s quite new to us. So is the network of shills and stooges employed by Lawley and the ICM Registry to make sales.

[I’m told that the bribes were offered to Bill Lyon when he was head of Free Speech, and as hard as Lawley pressed the Free Speech board to support .XXX, even to the point of calling an industry meeting to “discuss” it, the FSC board has always rejected it.]
