Porn Valley- Bill Margold’s debating at MTV Wednesday afternoon. But he doesn’t know with whom or what it’s about, or for how long, save to say he’s being picked up by limo and taken over to their studios. Margold wouldn’t even venture to say if it’ll compare in magnitude to his recent debate at KSEX, www.ksexradio.com .
“I suppose that’s a marginal status symbol, but I tend to take competition seriously,” says Margold who’ll accept an invitation to a Costco ribbon cutting if it involves making a speech. MTV apparently asked for some material depicting Margold in era-esque porn array, so Arrow Productions, www.xxxdeepthroat.com, apparently provided them with some footage of Margold from both The Immorals and Goddaughter 5.
“They wanted material to show of me during the show,” Margold says. “And [Ray] Pistol was generous enough to allow them to use scenes of me from the first chapter of The Immorals where I play a judge; and Goddaughter 5 where I’m the Godfather. Other than that I can’t tell you much except it’s something I’m capable of doing and I’m excited about.” Monday evening Margold lectured at Harbor College in Wilmington, Ca. Thursday he lectures at UCLA in a Public Relations class.
On another note, Margold has always wanted to take The Immorals to completion which would involve a fifth installment. “It would be how Joey [Silvera] survived during the [Vietnam] war which was by making prisoner of war sex films. I have this great concept if Pistol would allow me to do it. That’s something I’m really anxious to do.” Margold says he stopped creating when he got involved with Free Speech. “Because I believed I should try and save the business which doesn’t want to be saved.”
Margold also intends to speak next Friday [he calls it Pink Friday] at Van Nuys City Hall during the hearing on the Leslie Bill.
“This could be where they lay down their terms, and I warned them last Tuesday if you smother us in a blanket, we’ll burn the blankets. They have to realize that if they become way too punitive for their own good, we will break all the rules. We’re simply not that anxious to comply to everything. I don’t mind mandatory condoms for anal as long as you show the rubber being put on. I think optional is the operative word for vaginal and ridiculous is the operative word for oral. You got to be kidding me if they’re going to make condoms mandatory in blowjobs. They might as well make water balloon out of them. That’s a ludicrous proposition but it’s wait and see, now.”
Margold states that Lara Roxx has received a $1,000 from AIM. “I’ve reached out to see what she’s up to but no response. If we raise any money at any of these events coming up, she’ll wind up getting some of it, I hope, once we figure out where we’re at.”
More than likely, Margold’s face probably shows up on ABC’s Primetime this Thursday, too, although he’s not sure in what context. The show was being advertised for last week. “But they weren’t ready,” Margold says. “I’m talking to the producer of the show and she has no idea how that news got out.” From what Margold gathers, the show will be part and parcel of what Belladonna had to say along with the HIV situation. “And who knows what they [ABC] got from that. Most of it will probably be Lara Roxx.”
