Porn Valley- When Tyler Faith’s the voice of reason on KSEX you got to figure that Mary Carey is somewhere in the building. And that she was. Carey was a guest on The Wanker Show Monday night, and the subject was brought up about Carey’s mother.
At the rate she was going, Carey’s words were traveling faster than the speed of sound. She made mention of the fact that she was three days sober. Wankus made note that Carey was supposed to have been in Vegas this past weekend for a party with “Scotty Boy” but she had to fly on emergency to Florida.
“I had my extensions out- I was up early Wednesday to get my extensions put back in,” said Carey. “The call was that my mom had jumped from the apartment building- they said the fourth floor.” Carey said her mother’s neighbor 10 years earlier had jumped off the fourth floor. But Carey’s mother lives on the second floor.
“The rule of thumb is three floors or more will kill ya,” observed Wankus.
Carey said she didn’t have a lot of information when she got on the plane and was calling everybody she could think of.
“I was in a Xanax-drunken oh my God stupor,” Carey related. “I got to the airport, got on a plane and got to the hospital. It turned out she had no head trauma, no heart trauma, no lung trauma.” Carey said her mother landed on her legs, broke her back and totally shattered her fourth vertebrae.
“They did spine surgery.”
Besides that, Carey’s mother also broke both her legs and completely shattered her left foot. According to Carey the doctors are worried about the left leg.
“I hope they don’t have to amputate,” Carey said, noting there was a small possibility.
“The left leg is so shattered it might not heal and there could be so much infection.” Carey said there was another possibility that they might fuse it.
“And I’m sitting here complaining about my knees hurting from dancing and falling down drunk,” she said. For the time being, Carey’s mother is on medication and is fine.
“She wants to get better,” she said. “To get better she has to be talking and moving around. One thing about my mom she’s very loud and demanding like I am. They tell me she’s every hour: ‘I need something!’ She screams at the top of her lungs. She’s always wanting food. She’s constantly asking for soda. She wants to eat hamburgers really bad and is always yelling to change the TV station.”
Asked who found her mother, Carey said she again didn’t have all the details but got the call 9 am in the morning. Carey said she talked to people in the building that didn’t have the greatest command of the English language. Carey also felt where there was more time that she could have been spending with her mother and taking her on vacations.
“Instead of spending money on loser-Harold,” she said.
“I’m hoping she makes it through and I want to spend more time with her.” Carey said she’s been so stressed out over the situation that she’s been barely able to drink.
“And I quit smoking,” she added. “I couldn’t sleep for three days.” Carey began rambling about Xanax and how it allows her to go to sleep. Wankus brought up her former boyfriend Harold and how he got stupid towards the end of the relationship.
“He was getting a little violent- and stealing. You dumped him before but always came back together.” Carey said they’ve been through three or four weeks. And now she’s dating a new guy.
“But he says he won’t be my boyfriend until I’m off Xanax and alcohol,” Carey said. “I don’t think he’s violent.” According to Carey, Harold was pretty useless as far as helping her with her career. Carey cited an instance at the Cadillac Lounge in Rhode Island where drama was going on in the audience involving bouncers but Harold was oblivious to it.
During the course of the show, Faith announced that she would be on the Adam Carolla show on Thursday morning. Wankus mentioned something about 7 am.
