COPENHAGEN, Denmark — Commuters in Copenhagen, Denmark, were surprised by campaign posters featuring forged pornographic photographs of the Danish People’s Party’s mayoral candidate.
Last weekend, unknown saboteurs took it upon themselves to print and hang forged campaign posters showing a young Louise Frevert in an explicit scene, the Copenhagen Post reported.
The photograph stems from the politician’s past as a pornographic starlet in the 1970s, according to daily newspaper BT.
Frevert has made no attempts to hide her past career, brushing it aside as youthful foolishness.
The forged poster campaign was launched just one day before local elections that will decide whether she can increase the share of her party’s seats on the city council, the newspaper said.
